The Backstretch Community Programs provide recreation, support, and connection for workers and families. These programs include:

Soccer leagues that bring workers together for weekly games and friendly competition.

Riders compete in arena event backed by South Florida Horsemen’s Group.

Community barbecues and gatherings that offer meals and a place to connect.

Eligibility Requirements

Backstretch Community Programs are open to:

All backstretch workers
Employees working under licensed trainers
Family members living in the same household
Horsemen who actively work on Florida training grounds
Most programs are open to everyone without prerequisites, though certain leagues or activities may require a simple registration form.
